Active Screen Gravity (ASG) models inflationary attractor-like behavior through a threshold-induced running Planck mass rather than a hand-tuned scalar potential.
Core idea
Integrating out a heavy sector modifies the gravitational coupling term, and the Einstein-frame potential flattens near the inflationary trajectory. This gives a concrete running-gravity realization of attractor geometry, not a general proof of the origin of all inflationary attractors.
Representative predictions
ns = 0.9676, r ≈ 3.4 × 10−2, αs ≈ −8 × 10−4, βs ≈ −4.2 × 10−5, and EFT validity scale ratio Λsc/H ≥ 12 across the posterior.
Observational outlook
The near-term observational test is the tensor-to-scalar ratio r. The running hierarchy αs, βs is characteristic of the mechanism but lies below the expected sensitivity of near-future CMB surveys.
Statistical status
The Metropolis-Hastings chains are multimodal and not fully converged for the ASG sector, so their one-chain marginalized intervals should be read as local-mode summaries. The quoted Bayes factor, ln BASG/ΛCDM ≈ +6 to +8, applies within the adopted matched-prior PolyChord pipeline and remains prior- and baseline-sensitive.
